Fastmed is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing radiologic procedures, as well as assisting with other medical support as required by our clinicians. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and performing x-rays within scope of practice
  • Practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards
  • Keeping an accurate log of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding
  • Verifying condition of network and x-ray server
  • Cleaning cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure
  • Performing additional front and back-office duties as required by the daily operations of the clinic
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as one of the following licenses: License for Radiologic Technologists, License for Practical Radiologic Technicians (Arizona only), Limited Medical Radiologic Technologists (Texas only), Non-Certified Technician (Texas only), or Basic Machine Operation (Florida only). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. If you have prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic, we'd love to hear from you.
