We are looking for seniors to join our 55+ Job Training Program at Met Company. This program will give you the opportunity to update your employability skills and get paid in the process.

This senior program provides training/job skills to find and enter into full and part time employment, with a focus on not-for-profit/government positions. You will train 20 hours per week, getting paid for the hours you train, and learn new skills.

We will assist you in updating your resume and cover letter, learning interviewing and job search skills to enhance your employment opportunities. The program is income eligible, so you will need to qualify to participate.

The following positions are available:
• Clerical support
• Child care assistance
• Janitorial work
• Kitchen help

As an older worker, you are a valuable resource for the 21st century workforce. Our Senior Community Services Employment Program is committed to providing high-quality job training and employment assistance to participants.

We have an extensive network of service providers in Potter County.

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be 55 years or older
• Be unemployed
• Meet income guidelines (see below)

Income Guidelines:

• 1 person: $15,175 annually
• 2 people: $20,575 annually
• 3 people: $25,975 annually
• 4 people: $31,375 annually
