Nurse Specialist for Cancer Care

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist for Cancer Care. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with blood cancer, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote health literacy and empower patients to manage their conditions effectively
Requirements:
- Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred)
- Valid nursing license from the state of practice
- BLS Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
- Experience working in oncology or hematological disorders
