**Job Title:** Sociology Instructor - Non-Tenure Track Faculty Vacancy Pool
**Location:** Bellingham, WA
We are seeking a qualified instructor to join our Department of Sociology as part of our non-tenure track faculty vacancy pool. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a variety of sociology courses and contribute to the development of our department's curriculum.
**Responsibilities:
- Teach sociology courses at the undergraduate level
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
- Mentor students in research projects and academic pursuits
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of our curriculum
**Requirements:
- Ph.D. or ABD in Sociology or a related field
- Demonstrated potential for excellent teaching and mentoring
- Ability to cultivate inclusive learning environments that value diversity and equity
**Salary:** $60,000-$80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
