About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Tolling and ITS Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying general planning, operational, and engineering principles to solve specific toll-related problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of Toll Systems, Toll Operations, and relevant Toll related Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology to investigate needs and problems related to transportation planning, engineering, and operations.
  • Coordinate Toll project activities and prepare preliminary deliverables and documents.
  • Assist in the design and development of toll concepts, including requirement analysis, technology review, and selection.
  • Support the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Design Build procurement process for tolling-related components.
  • Support toll system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Support Express Lane traffic performance analysis.
  • Analyze Express Lane traffic data and provide recommendations on toll rate system parameters.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in tolling and ITS systems.
  • Ability to assemble and analyze data.
  • CAD skills preferred.
  • Good technical writing and communications skills.
  • Ability to perform in a professional courteous manner and remain friendly while under pressure.
