Asbestos Abatement Specialist

Rempert Inc is seeking a skilled Asbestos Abatement Specialist to join our team in Rhode Island. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and investigations of asbestos abatement projects to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Conduct preparatory initial inspections of abatement projects, ensuring all necessary precautions are taken.
• Perform follow-up inspections to verify compliance with regulations, identifying any potential hazards or issues.
• Inspect and test equipment, machinery, and conditions affecting employee and public health, collecting samples as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing consultations, inspections, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate files and records related to asbestos operations, reviewing plans for maintenance, repair, and handling of asbestos-containing materials.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a valid New England asbestos inspector license (MA, NH, ME, CT, RI, or VT) and have a strong understanding of industrial safety and hygiene practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to work independently, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
