Senior Garage Door Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Techician/Installer to join our team at PDQ Door, Maine's leading provider of garage doors, dock equipment, and automatic pedestrian doors.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience is not necessary as we provide thorough on-the-job and classroom training.

Job Description:

• Install garage door products according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Document all work activities and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) needed for insurance purposes.
• Dependable transportation to and from base office location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of construction and hand tools.
• Mechanical inclination.
• Strong willingness to learn.
