Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and processing rest and stress Cardiology scans, as well as assisting physicians in generating reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform camera quality controls according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Handle laboratory and biohazard wastes.
- Order nuclear doses in appropriate quantities to accommodate provider schedules.
- Position camera in multiple manipulations as requested by physicians or dictated by studies.
- Generate reports as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Nuclear Medicine Cardiology experience required.
- Nuclear Medicine license and/or certification required.
Working Conditions
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring extended periods of sitting, walking, and standing. Moderate unassisted lifting to 30lbs is also required.
Work Schedule
The successful candidate will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30a to 5:00p, with potential flexibility in days and hours.
Rotating Work Locations
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will rotate through various work locations, including Fairfield, Trumbull, Milford, and Danbury.
