About the Role

As a Residential Treatment Unit Specialist at Rosecrance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team and provide direct supervision and support to addicted adolescent clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage client behavior, providing appropriate interventions and consequences.
  • Coordinate and supervise client recreational activities.
  • Monitor client progress, consulting with primary counselors to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain confidentiality.
  • Develop and present patient lectures on AA step work and treatment plan objectives.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC) or able to be certified within 24 months.
Qualifications
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
  • Able to coordinate and present lectures for patients, parents, and community resources.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary based on education, experience, and credentials:

  • Starting pay: $18.43-$20.25/hour, depending on qualifications.
  • Shift differentials: additional $.25-$0.50/hour based on scheduled shift hours.
