Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate polysomnographic equipment, prepare reports, and maintain life-saving measures. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of monitored parameters and be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Operate polysomnographic equipment to diagnose and treat sleep-related disorders
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports for healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters
  • Institute and maintain life-saving measures as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field preferred
  • 2 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist required
  • Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPT) preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and medical equipment. A moderate knowledge of basic computer skills is also required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $23.76 - $35.13 per hour, depending on experience. Rutland Regional Medical Center offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
