Job Summary

This is a challenging role for an Electrical Power Systems Specialist to perform inspections and tests of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing engineering tasks such as equipment labeling inspections, equipment testing, and writing inspection reports.
  • Determining applicable standards for unique or specially built equipment.
  • Performing equipment-labeling projects consistent with recognized industry and international standards, local jurisdiction requirements, and company procedures.
  • Maintaining electrical power distribution systems through testing and maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards.
  • A good theoretical understanding of electrical power systems.
  • The ability to write detailed reports with few changes.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
