Job Description:

This role is for a highly skilled and experienced Analytical Scientist to join our team at Nutramax Laboratories. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and method development, with experience in developing and validating analytical methods for nutraceuticals and/or pharmaceutical samples in a GMP environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and at least 10 years of experience in the industry. A Master's degree and additional technical experience are preferred.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits program, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating scientifically sound analytical methods to ensure analysis and prompt release of raw materials, finished products, and stability studies. You will also be required to maintain current knowledge of latest technological and scientific trends, serve as an analytical science resource for the team, and mentor and train chemists in proper execution and interpretation of validation studies.

You will be working closely with our Analytical Chemistry team to accomplish tasks, and must be able to communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for chromatographic, spectroscopic, titrimetric, and wet chemistry analyses.
  • Maintain current knowledge of latest technological and scientific trends.
  • Serve as an analytical science resource for the team.
  • Mentor and train chemists in proper execution and interpretation of validation studies.
  • Collaborate with the Analytical Chemistry team to accomplish tasks.
