Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Order and perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
  • Prescribe and manage medications, as authorized
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience working with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
