Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist

Growth Educational Services seeks a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech and language therapy services in-home to children ages 0 -3 years old, focusing on early intervention to enhance communication and developmental outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child and family.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions to improve communication, articulation, language comprehension, and social interaction skills.
  • Collaborate closely with parents/caregivers and speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) to promote coordinated care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Provide family-centered therapy sessions, offering guidance and support to families on implementing strategies and facilitating communication development in natural environments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of early intervention and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children in early intervention settings preferred (minimum 2 years).
  • CA drivers license and insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
Compensation:

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, direct SLP support as needed, monthly team meetings, license renewal reimbursement, cellphone stipend, paid indirect time, competitive salary, flexible schedule, health insurance, training & development, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
