Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager, Facility Solutions to join our team at Continua Interiors.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from order acceptance through to project close. You will represent the customer's business interests on the job site, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish and that the installation is carried out seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Establish project budgets for labor & install services, create and maintain project schedules, and verify jobsite conditions, dimensions & readiness.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate site deliveries & logistics, pre-review order files and deliverables prior to order entry submittal, review production acknowledgement and installation drawings, and coordinate pre-installation meetings with project and installation teams.
  • Installation Oversight: Monitor installation work and schedule, attend project meetings onsite with GC and other trades, coordinate tasks and scope of work with other trades, assist with reviewing/responding to RFI requests, and manage deficiency paperwork and process.
  • Closeout Procedures: Provide all closeout documents at project completion.
Requirements
  • A college degree in building construction or construction management, or a technical diploma in engineering or architecture.
  • Three to five years of construction, architectural, or related experience.
  • Previous knowledge of demountable walls solutions, including their layers and how they work together, as well as an understanding of how demountable walls are installed, would be an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software, and an enthusiasm for learning new software programs.
  • Able to execute tasks efficiently and calmly when multitasking and quick thinking are required.
  • A self-motivated problem solver with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to remember the details of each project and scope of work.
  • Excellent communication skills: listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions, writes clearly and informatively.
  • Able to lead completion of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Conflict resolution experience.

Estimated salary range is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
