We're seeking a Seasonal Delivery Assistant to join our team at United Parcel Service (UPS). As a key member of our delivery network, you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient package delivery.
This seasonal position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the transportation industry. You'll work closely with our experienced drivers, helping them navigate through busy routes while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit, able to lift up to 70 pounds, and possess strong communication skills. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those with experience in jobs such as Straight Truck Driver, Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator, and Teammate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ride alongside Package Delivery Drivers on designated routes to assist with delivering packages to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Adhere to UPS's strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Possess a valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
