Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and promoting language development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Deliver direct therapy services and conduct regular progress monitoring to ensure students receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Evaluate the communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders.
  • Perform evaluations on referred students and make treatment recommendations to support their communication development.
  • Offer support and training to teachers for classroom communication to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
