Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Werfen. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing corrective maintenance, installation, and calibration of equipment at customer sites. Your high level of responsiveness to customer issues will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic equipment.
Key responsibilities include managing parts inventory, maintaining adequate trunk stock and accurate documentation, adhering to company policies, and ensuring all deadlines are met for the installation of new equipment and repaired equipment. You will also be required to complete regular training to stay up-to-date with current information and share best practices with team members.
Qualifications for this role include an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience from military or biomedical training, plus 2 years of field experience as a Field Service Engineer. Experience in the in-vitro diagnostics industry is preferred, as well as experience in repairing and using instruments used for Diagnostic Blood Banking, Blood Typing, and Antibody screening.
