The University of Minnesota invites applications for a faculty position in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. We seek a talented academic gastroenterologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing the field of gastroenterology.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing division with a strong focus on research, education, and patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of academic productivity, including publications and presentations, and a commitment to teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in gastroenterology, with a focus on microbiome science, inflammatory bowel disease, and use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy
- Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in gastroenterology
- Provide clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Participate in departmental and university service
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology, with a focus on academic research and education. They will have a strong track record of publications and presentations, and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. The candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
