Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join our team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

• Participate in inpatient evaluations of patients with cardiac rhythm problems alongside electrophysiologists, ensuring comprehensive care and effective follow-up.
• Provide outpatient management and follow-up for patients with various rhythm disorders, including initiating and managing antiarrhythmic therapies, triage of acute problems, and education on lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate closely with RN-managed device clinic staff to troubleshoot and manage patients with acute needs.
• Work with general cardiology staff to manage patients with devices, utilizing CHF data (cardiac compass, heart logic, corvue) to optimize patient care.

This position includes call expectations of 1:9 nights and 1:9 weekends, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
