About the Job:
As a Pharmacy Technician at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality of care, customer service, and colleague satisfaction in our Pharmacy Department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the operation of the Pharmacy Department, driven by a commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. You will be responsible for achieving timely medication preparation, labeling, and delivery, while ensuring prompt distribution of drugs and other pharmaceuticals to patients or caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation of the Pharmacy Department
Achieve timely medication preparation, labeling, and delivery
Ensure prompt distribution of drugs and other pharmaceuticals to patients or caregivers
Review inventory to ensure medications are properly stored, controlled, and rotated
Process pharmacy charges, ensuring medications and supplies are properly charged or credited to each patient's account
Answer telephones and customer window and route requests accordingly
Requirements:
Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent
Licensure: Current Indiana licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Tech in Training with licensure within one year. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
Experience: Two years hospital/institutional pharmacy experience preferred
