Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our corporate engineering team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the paper, tissue, or cardboard packaging industries. They will be responsible for collaborating closely with product development and papermaking teams to identify and address technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will also have a strong understanding of paper coatings and their application processes, as well as demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product concepts and processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support product development initiatives.
  • Optimize existing product formulations and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate product performance and quality attributes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the paper, tissue, or cardboard packaging industries.
  • Proven hands-on experience in a papermaking environment.
  • Strong understanding of paper coatings and their application processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary of $ 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
