We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at TotalMed in Edmonds, Washington.

Job Summary:

TotalMed is looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in our Step Down Unit. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress, including medical history, test results, and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
