Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Observation Unit Nurse at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and contribute to the success of our Level III Trauma Center.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. You will assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records. Additionally, you will administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
