**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced High Performance Powertrain Specialist to join our Nampa Auto Mall Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex powertrain issues on various vehicles. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our repair services.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of powertrain systems, including engine, transmission, and drivetrain components. You will also need to be able to work independently, utilize your judgment to make decisions, and document all work and hours according to manufacturer and Kendall policies. In addition, you must be able to push, pull, crouch, squat, reach, and kneel frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on, and lift weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally.
**Work Environment**
As a High Performance Powertrain Specialist, you will work in a shop environment where you will be required to stand and walk for the entire work shift. You will also be exposed to mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force.
