About the Role

PDS Health is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Manager Trainee to join our team. As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our dental offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Company Culture: Embody the values and standards of PDS Health, creating an environment that promotes a positive and productive work culture.
  • Team Management: Assess, hire, and retain top talent, providing comprehensive training, supervision, and coaching to ensure team members excel in their roles.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve staff and patient issues, developing timely and effective solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.
  • Operational Execution: Consistently execute the PDS Health Operational Model, working in partnership with the Owner Dentist to achieve identified office imperatives.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth, leveraging data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of local market drivers and competition.
  • Expense Management: Effectively manage expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Cash Management: Demonstrate proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with direct supervisors, team members, and patients, building trust-based relationships and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state, federal, and other regulatory bodies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager, detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, and performance goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Five or more years of related work experience in operational management, with a proven track record of success in team management, issue resolution, and revenue growth.
  • Skills: Results-oriented, effective team builder, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, influencer, and strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge: Dental plans, insurance fees, administrative guidelines, limitations, and exclusions; business correspondence and reporting techniques; and business principles of profit and loss statements.
  • Software Proficiency: Microsoft Applications, Epic, 1VU, BOX, and standard office equipment.
