Role Overview

This position involves providing specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems at Mount St Vincent Home in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Colorado Department of Education and State Licensing requirements and guidelines for the classroom.
  • Develop individualized education plans of care to provide appropriate instruction and a positive learning experience.
  • Utilize trauma-informed care to establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, effectively interpret behavior, and appropriately respond to meet the patient's needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Colorado Teaching License with endorsement in special education required.
  • Current Driver's License and must obtain Colorado Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Colorado, required.
