Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Resort Housekeeper to join our team at Sun Communities. As a Resort Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our resort facilities and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including appliances and surfaces.
  • Ensure all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures and floors.
  • Follow established safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
  • Ensure the general resort appearance is well-maintained and orderly.
  • Sweep, mop, wax, and buff floors as needed.
  • Clean and maintain windows and screens.
  • Maintain washers and dryers.
  • Empty trash containers as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work and safety measures.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use.
