About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to work with our patients in Clifton, NJ. As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving/enhancing the patient's well-being while following the established plan of care.
- Responsible for following all state-specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care.
- Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Observe, record, and report to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
- Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract and retain top talent in the field.
