Become a Skilled Dental Assistant through Intensive Training

As a Dental Assistant Trainee at Southcentral Foundation, you will embark on a comprehensive training journey that combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience. This paid employee training program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist dental teams in various aspects of general dentistry.
In this role, you will learn to perform chairside duties, including preventive, restorative, surgical, and endodontic treatments under the guidance of experienced instructors and mentors. As you progress, you will develop the ability to work independently and demonstrate proficiency as a Dental Assistant I.
The Southcentral Foundation's Dental Assistant Trainee Program follows a structured approach to ensure your success. You will receive certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, which is a requirement for this position. Additionally, you must comply with our Employee Health Procedure, which includes mandatory job-related health screenings and immunizations.
Key Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 30 days of hire
• Compliance with Employee Health Procedure
Southcentral Foundation prioritizes Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training, as per P.L. 93-638. To receive preference, SCF Human Resources must certify applicants.
