Unlock Your Potential as an Executive Director in Pharmaceutical Program Leadership

Maintain a high level of expertise and ensure compliance with industry standards by overseeing internal and partnered programs. Manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, leveraging your experience in drug development and project management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver Integrated Development Plans for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and integration across functions.
  • Monitor program progress, identifying critical path activities and optimizing execution without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Proactively address potential issues and risks, driving resolution and effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely communication with stakeholders regarding plans, status, deadlines, data requirements, logistics, and project-related issues.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external alliance counterparts, planning and conducting joint meetings as defined by agreements.
  • Facilitate program and alliance team meetings, including agenda development and minute maintenance.
  • Manage and track cross-functional program timelines, deliverables, risk registers, and critical path.
  • Communicate effectively across functions and escalate critical issues.

Partnering Across the Organization:

Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage program budgets, utilizing your excellent management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in biological sciences or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • At least 6 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with 3-5 years managing cross-functional projects and alliances from discovery through early clinical development.
  • Strong understanding of research and preclinical drug-development processes.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations and multi-disciplinary drug development teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Project, and other project management software tools.
  • Able to travel, if necessary.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience. As an Executive Director at Monte Rosa Therapeutics, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to pioneering therapies for cancer and other diseases.
