About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Plasma Center Medical Specialist. As a key member of our plasma collection center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of donors while collecting high-quality plasma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility by conducting medical histories, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory test results.
  • Evaluate donor reactions and respond according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide guidance on medical or technical issues and refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
  • Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
  • Satisfactory completion of FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialists.
