Job Overview

Agate Housing and Services is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness and relieving hunger through action and advocacy.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing government-funded contracts and ensuring agency data compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support staff in the Contract & Compliance Office.
  • Collaborate with Administration, Finance, External Relations, and Program leadership to ensure successful compliance with contract and reporting requirements.
  • Identify and research government funding opportunities and prepare high-quality applications.
  • Negotiate agreements with funders and ensure Agate Housing and Services fulfills its reporting, invoicing, and compliance obligations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and funders.
  • Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement of processes and changes to support infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience working with government human service funding.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff.
  • Experience preparing successful applications and negotiating government contracts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to develop and monitor program budgets.
