Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) requirements
  • Direct the provision of services using psychological rehabilitation and emphasizing wellness, resilience, and recovery
  • Provide crisis de-escalation and intervention
  • Assist in resolving client and family grievances in a timely manner
  • Facilitate all aspects of a client's plan of care, including assessments and treatment planning, communication with managed care organizations (MCOs), and community-based providers
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide feedback and maintain communication
  • Hire, train, schedule, direct, evaluate, and provide oversight to the social services department, staff, including case managers, case manager assistants, and group leaders

Requirements

An Illinois licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with two to five years of clinical experience and supervisory experience preferred.
