Salary
$41.36 - $51.92 Hourly (405.4)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our Central Clearance Section. In this role, you will provide advanced administrative support to our team, utilizing your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. You will be responsible for coordinating clearance and access-related processes, managing workflow, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate clearance and access-related forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and requesting additional information as necessary.
  • Perform data entry and track processing of forms to ensure compliance with predetermined timeframes.
  • Operate and update the Livermore Electronic Access Portal (LEAP), which tracks clearance and access information on employees, subcontractors, classified visitors, and guests.
  • Represent management in gathering, clarifying, and disseminating information and coordinating activities.
  • Monitor workflow and work quality of team members to ensure completion of tasks and compliance with Central Clearance and Security policies and procedures.
  • Compose, coordinate, and compile complex administrative reports, spreadsheets, documents, and correspondence for supervisor approval.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in a government or defense industry setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid U.S. Department of Energy Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
