Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Acuity Adjusted Unit at Indian Path Community Hospital. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering safe, competent care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
The nurse will work autonomously within the scope of professional standards and organizational policies to provide patient care that meets the highest standards of evidence-based practice.
Key responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, delivering care as part of the care team, and accurately reporting and documenting patient information in electronic medical records.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the nursing process and be able to use critical thinking skills to implement all phases of patient care.
Additionally, the nurse will be expected to participate in patient care quality and performance improvement initiatives, and serve as a professional role model and mentor to students, peers, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
Associate's degree or diploma from an accredited Nursing program required. Must be able to complete job-related competencies as deemed necessary to the performance of the RN role.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid and active RN licensure from the appropriate state, AHA BLS certification required, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required dependent upon area.
