About the Job

We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in a correctional facility in London, Ohio. This is a travel job opportunity with a contract duration of 13 weeks, working 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift basis.

The estimated weekly payment for this position ranges from $1,000 to $1,071, depending on the specific details of the contract. In addition to taxable wages, employees may also receive tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals.

Job Description

As an LPN / LVN in this correctional facility, you will be responsible for performing various duties, including medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care to patients and ensure their well-being.

Requirements
  • Active Ohio LPN License
  • Minimum 1-year prior nursing experience
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Corrections nursing experience is a plus
  • Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work
