Survey CAD Technician II Job Description

Your Impact at SAM:
As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. Your responsibilities will include:

* Processing data utilizing SAM standards, ensuring accuracy, sufficiency, and compliance with applicable land survey project and industry principles under your supervisor's guidance
* Monitoring field crew production and quality assurance
* Conducting initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
* Coordinating with your supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met

What You Bring to SAM:
* A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required for this position
* Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory; MicroStation, Revit, or similar applications are advantageous
* Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are beneficial

Estimated Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on location and experience. This compensation package reflects the value we place on our employees' skills and dedication.
