Risk and Claims Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Risk and Claims Coordinator to join our team at Leavitt Group. As a Risk and Claims Coordinator, you will play a critical role in assisting our property and casualty risk and claims team in managing our existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter claims into our claims management system and submit the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) to the appropriate carrier.
  • Gather claim status updates on smaller claims as assigned.
  • Coordinate the preparation of stewardship or claims summary reports.
  • Maintain meeting notes and records of team actions and recommendations.
  • Assist in gathering documents for pre-unit stat review process according to department workflows and procedures.
  • Prepare and assist with PowerPoint presentations, hosting webinars, and meetings as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of agency experience or a combination of experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Active CA property/casualty license or obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Valid, in-force driver's license with an MVR acceptable to the agency.
