Data Engineering Expert for Democratizing Software Creation

We're passionate about democratizing software creation and empowering anyone to build anything. As a data engineer at Airtable, you'll play a crucial role in designing mission-critical data pipelines that enable decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop scalable data solutions that drive better product and growth decision-making.
- Design and maintain foundational business tables to simplify analysis and improve data insights across the company.
- Continuously optimize data warehouse performance and reliability to ensure seamless data processing.
- Establish a consistent pattern language across the data stack to guarantee accuracy and understanding of our data pipelines and tables.
We're looking for experienced professionals with 3-5 years of expertise in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, preferably using Airflow. Ideal candidates have demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, and are willing to adapt to others as needed.
Candidates should possess strong SQL skills, be able to write and tune complex queries, and be passionate about building systems that enhance human understanding. Effective communication is essential, with experience in conveying ideas through written content and visualizations.
Compensation PackageAirtable offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary and benefits tailored to your work location. For San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles locations, the estimated annual base salary range for this role is $179,500-$221,500 USD. For all other locations, the estimated annual base salary range is $161,500-$199,300 USD.
