Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Joseph Health System. As a nurse at our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide patient advocacy and create a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Actively demonstrate the organization's mission and core values and conduct oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values.
- Know and adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety, and medical information.
- Perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, and communicate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Delegate, supervise, and evaluate care given by other nursing team members.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patient's response.
- Identify potential emergency situations and initiate appropriate response.
- Provide patient and family teaching and continuously evaluate and modify the plan of care and teaching plans based on the patient's response.
- Assist with orientation of new employees and perform other related duties as assigned or as workload or staffing variations require.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- RN Indiana License.
- CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
- None.
