Nursing Educator Opportunity

Welcome to the Nursing Educator Opportunity at California State University, Fullerton. As a part-time lecturer in our School of Nursing, you will be contributing to the education and development of future nurses. We invite applications from experienced professionals who can inspire and mentor students in a diverse and dynamic learning environment.
About the PositionThis is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as needed. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants may be offered employment on very short notice.
Requirements- Masters and/or Doctorate in Nursing
- RN License
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
- Eligibility for Board of Registered Nursing faculty approval is required for pre-licensure teaching positions
- Preference will be given to those with significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
- Preference will also be given to those with relevant performance and professional experience.
The salary for this position is estimated at $60,000 per year, based on the collective bargaining agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester only. The full-time monthly base salaries are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
