Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Concrete Estimator to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing precise estimates and quotations that are essential for our budgeting processes. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to leverage your concrete estimating expertise and contribute significantly to our construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed cost estimates for materials and labor related to concrete construction projects.
  2. Examine blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  3. Engage with clients, vendors, and project personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and address any issues.
  4. Maintain a comprehensive directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  5. Establish cost monitoring and reporting systems.
  6. Conduct studies to develop standard hour and cost data or to implement cost-saving measures.
  7. Evaluate material and labor needs to determine the most cost-effective approach.
  8. Prepare regular cost and expenditure reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Present cost estimates and budget proposals to clients and project stakeholders.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete estimating or a similar role.
  3. Proficient in industry-standard software for estimating, project management, and financial analysis.
  4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  9. Capability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  10. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and project management principles.
  11. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  12. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
