About The Role

We are looking for a talented technical lead to join our software team as we grow and expand our robot fleet management software. As a tech lead for the software services (back-end) team, you will be responsible for developing backend APIs and services for our web-based robot fleet management application, Arc.

You will own the development of new features and services, work cross-functionally with product, UXD, front-end, robot hardware and software, and customer solutions teams. Your responsibilities will also include building and maintaining applications throughout the software lifecycle, providing on-call support, gathering and analyzing product requirements, turning them into technical solutions, writing design docs, POCs, and code, and collaborating with technical peers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in a software engineer or related role
  • Expertise in developing on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience starting with basic or minimal requirements and working towards end-to-end solutions
  • Excited about building in greenfield environments
  • Experience building robust, highly available, high-reliability systems
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Python
  • Strong knowledge of Databases and Database design (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Breadth of knowledge in writing services and using frameworks, technologies, and patterns such as Java/Spring Boot, REST, gRPC, dependency injection, unit testing, mocks, etc.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
