ESL Educator

Clear Creek Amana Community School District seeks an experienced ESL Educator to join our team. As a Classroom Innovator, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality education to students with diverse language backgrounds.

The successful candidate will develop and implement effective programming associated with core curriculum and behavioral skills to be delivered in a classroom setting for assigned students. This includes implementing the district curriculum, standards, and benchmarks, as well as collaborating with the administration, school counselor, staff, parents, and students on matters pertaining to academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral goals.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can maintain appropriate records and protect the confidentiality of data while meeting the 8 Iowa Teaching Standards and 43 criteria on a consistent basis.

• Develop and implement programming associated with core curriculum and behavioral skills to be delivered in a classroom setting for assigned students.
• Implement the district curriculum, standards, and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the administration, school counselor, staff, parents, and students on matters pertaining to academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral goals.
• Maintain appropriate records and protect the confidentiality of data.
• Meet the 8 Iowa Teaching Standards and 43 criteria on a consistent basis.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a current teaching license with ESL K-12 Endorsement. Experience in classroom teaching is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
