Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at IASIS Healthcare. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical pharmacy services in a designated clinical area.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures related to safe and effective use of medications
* Participate in daily patient care rounds and provide drug information and consultation with physicians, pharmacists, and nurses
* Evaluate all drug therapy for appropriate indications, dosage, drug interactions, and allergies
* Monitor patients' regimen for effectiveness and adverse drug events and intervene as appropriate
* Act as a liaison between pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff to educate health professionals regarding current drug-related procedures, policies, guidelines, and pathways

**Requirements**

* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college of pharmacy with at least 5 years hospital experience or Doctor of Pharmacy degree with at least 2 years hospital experience
* PGY-1 Residency Training with minimum 3 years of experience in designated practice area
