Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect at Compu-Vision Consulting, you will be responsible for determining security requirements and planning, implementing, and testing security systems to secure enterprise information. Your expertise in evaluating network and security technologies will enable you to develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.

You will also design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures, as well as hardware and software. Your role will involve adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions, answering technical and procedural questions, teaching improved processes, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function.
• Develop, standardize, and document reference architectures, specifically zero-trust architecture.
• Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
• Elevate the security engineering team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need strong expertise in cybersecurity, network technologies, and security systems. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. A minimum of 6+ months of experience in a similar role is necessary. You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
