Senior Naval Mechanical Engineer

Deliver expert mechanical engineering services to Navy clients with a focus on vessel and system design, research, development, integration, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers from various disciplines to drive program outcomes and growth.
About the Role:
This Senior Naval Mechanical Engineer position at Booz Allen Hamilton offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your advanced mechanical engineering skills and strong communication abilities in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex mechanical designs through review of design artifacts
- Perform quantitative analyses of mechanical systems
- Develop and maintain knowledge of mechanical design standards and practices for defense systems and Naval ships
- Collaborate with systems engineers, electrical and electronics engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program objectives
- Leverage expertise to grow the skills and capabilities of junior engineers and promote a positive, inclusive culture
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with mechanical engineering
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification preferred
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
