Bartender - Part-time Position at Acrisure Arena

The Bartender is a key member of our team, responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. To excel in this role, you must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. Excellent attendance and flexibility to work events as scheduled are essential.

This role offers an hourly wage of $18 to $20, plus tips. Benefits for part-time employees include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide exceptional service.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages according to proper procedures, including state and federal regulations.
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits to guests.
  • Pour drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving size.
  • Verify minimum age requirements for the purchase of alcoholic beverages and communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns, de-escalating intoxicated guest situations when necessary.
  • Request additional product or restock as required, maintaining accurate cash handling skills.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary work station, with clean and well-maintained bar equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment, and assisting with cooler organization.

Qualifications:

  • At least six months of bartending experience.
  • Accurate cash handling skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Bartending school preferred.
