Artillery Acceptance Support Technician I

We are seeking a highly skilled Artillery Acceptance Support Technician I to join our team at TRAX International. As a key member of our Test Services Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the acceptance programs for artillery weapons.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with duties associated with the weapons' acceptance programs, including receipt inspections, operator-level maintenance, and transporting the weapon to and from gun positions.
- Perform pre-fire and post-fire nondestructive evaluation on acceptance weapon platforms, including navigation runs and fire control systems verification.
- Operate and troubleshoot the Digital Fire Control System, verifying and tracking major components (electronic and mechanical).
- Document information as required and maintain contact with the weapon system program on-site representative.
- Relocate and assist with coordination of military hardware, including weapon systems, cannon tubes, breach assemblies, and other related components.
- Clean components using chemical or manual methods.
- Assist with test preparation, set-up, execution, and reporting.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must acquire AA&E (Arms Ammunition and Explosives) certification within 90 days.
- Must acquire YPG Forklift certification within 90 days.
- Must acquire YPG overhead crane certification within 90 days.
- Must have 1 year artillery weapons experience.
- AA&E (Arms Ammunition and Explosives) certification.

- 1 year experience in non-destructive testing of artillery weapons.
This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement and requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Must be able to lift 100lbs unassisted and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
Security ClearanceMust be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
